Kevin Ozebek is currently serving as Europe Correspondent for Feature Story News in Brussels, Belgium. While at FSN, he has provided live news coverage out of Europe for FOX News, South Africa’s SABC News, Singapore’s Channel News Asia, and a host of radio networks around the world. He was part of team that led a major overhaul to the programming at South Africa’s leading cable news channel, eNCA. He’s also help the agency open its Paris and Mumbai bureaus.
Previously he was was a freelance journalist based in Istanbul, Turkey where he provided live updates on Turkey’s fight against ISIS for FOX News Channel’s On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, Canada’s CBC News and Ireland’s RTE News. He also provided original reporting on the refugee crisis for TIME and Al Arabiya English.
Up until June of 2015, Kevin reported across South Florida and around the world as a General Assignment Reporter for Miami’s WSVN-TV. He was one of two journalists behind the police line as officers and agents found and arrested Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Kevin also traveled to Newtown, CT to report on the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary. While vacationing in Beirut, Kevin reported live for WSVN-TV after a car bomb rocked part of the city. During that trip he also traveled to Tripoli, Lebanon to shoot, edit and write stories about the flood of refugees crossing over from war torn Syria.
Before working at WSVN-TV, Kevin worked at WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, Florida and WATE-TV in Knoxville, Tennessee. He’s a member of Kappa Tau Alpha, a journalism honor society, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University.
Kevin was born and raised near Cleveland, Ohio.
